Erika Groenewald founded e.g.jewellery in 2012, driven by a lifelong obsession with design, fashion, and architecture.
Erika has been redefining jewellery by fusing unconventional materials - aluminium, brass, wood, rubber, perspex, and sterling silver - into bold, wearable art. Her pieces don’t follow the rules. Every design is an experiment in texture, material, and balance, with a story rooted in contrast, movement, and the unexpected.
From South African Fashion Week and runway collaborations to the international stage, her work has been featured at White Show Milano as an invited trade exhibitor with 'The Fashion Firm'. Through her collaboration with GUGUBYGUGU, her pieces walked the runways of Paris and New York Fashion Week, where Gugubygugu won the 'African Fashion-UP Young Designers Award' in Paris 2023.
Beyond the collections, Erika crafts bespoke pieces in gold and precious stones on request, ensuring every creation stays personal, evolving, and one of a kind.
